Deepak Sathyanarayan is a seasoned technologist with extensive leadership experience across robotics, AI, and integrated sensor systems. With educational foundations in Biomedical, Mechanical, and Aerospace Engineering (BS from Duke University, MS from University of Virginia), he brings specialized expertise in shaping technology strategies that span biomedical, space, marine, and environmental domains.

As Co-Founder of Valor Robotics, Deepak leads R&D initiatives delivering innovative solutions to government and commercial clients. After exiting Valor in 2024, Deepak founded Eigen Strategies, where he consults on the ethical and sustainable design, manufacturing, and deployment of advanced robotics and AI systems across defense, aerospace, health, and environmental industries.

Throughout his career, Deepak has successfully acquired and managed over $2.5M in federal contracts with NASA, NAVY, NOAA, DARPA, and USSOCOM. His technical contributions have resulted in four patents across defense, space, and medical device applications. His impact extends to environmental stewardship, having consulted for the Deep Water Horizon Restoration efforts and established engineering innovation groups for international environmental consortia.
