Tom Oertel is a SCORE Business Advisor & Chapter Co-Chair. He helps startups and established businesses address ongoing challenges to their success. Prior to SCORE he spent 20- years as a channel sales representative for worldwide IT providers including EMC, Dell, Hewlett Packard, and Arrow Electronics.

He has decades of domestic and international experience as a product line manager with responsibility for IT servers, storage and database software, marketing and promotions. He spent 6-years as the IT manager for a division of Stop and Shop and local retailers. Previously he was a USAF intelligence gathering contractor for General Electric Corporation in Alaska and Turkey. He earned an MBA from Babson College in 1991.
